Description

La Trappe Triple

La Trappe Triple is a classic Trappist beer from Brouwerij de Koningshoeven. You can notice that the alcohol (8%) is strongly present. When you pour this beer, delicious fruity scents of apricot and peach arise. On top of the golden-yellow beer, a nice white foam head is created. This Tripel has a strong fruity character with notes of citrus fruit and tropical fruit. There is also a surprising sweetness to be recognized. The aftertaste is bitter and slightly dry. We recommend that the La Trappe Triple drink at a temperature of 10 to 12 degrees Celsius.

The Koningshoeven brewery

La Trappe owes its name to the French abbey 'Notre-Dame de la Grande Trappe' in the Normandy Soligny-la-Trappe, also called 'La Trappe'. Beer has been brewed by the monks in the traditional way at Koningshoeven Abbey since 1884. Brother Isidorus was the first brewer, to which Brouwerij de Koningshoeven has now also named its own beer: La Trappe Isid'or. The Trappist beers are still brewed with the same passion and craftsmanship. The brewery tries to avoid waste as much as possible and uses only natural ingredients. All La Trappe Beers have unique recipes. With the La Trappe Triple In any case, Brouwerij de Koningshoeven has a delicious fruity beer in the house.
