Delirium Red

Delirium Red is a characteristic Belgian fruit beer. This beer features sweet and sour flavors of red fruit, cherries, and almond, among others. This classic is deep red in color and has a rosy, clinging head. Despite the fresh and fruity flavors, it has an alcohol percentage of 8,0%. This makes it, therefore, a bit dangerous. With its unique flavors, this is an ideal fruit beer to pair with a sweet dessert. We recommend drinking this beer at a temperature of approximately 6 degrees Celsius.

Huyghe brewery

All Delirium beers are brewed by Brouwerij Huyghe from Melle (Belgium). These beers are primarily known for the pink elephant logo, as is Delirium Red . Delirium Tremens is by far the brewery's most popular beer. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Tremens, Delirium Argentum was therefore released. In 2012, the brewery invested in new brewing equipment, expanding capacity to 350.000 hl. As a result, turnover increased to approximately 30 million euros per year.

Ingredients Delirium Red

The brewmasters at Huyghe Brewery conducted extensive research to bring this fruit beer to market. The goal was to launch a unique fruit beer with a high alcohol content. And they certainly succeeded! The following ingredients were used in the production process of Delirium Red :
